This year we’ve distinguished three new locations that are definitely worth visiting and finding your favorite taste among them

Although it is already the end of August, the temperatures are high and the scorching rays of the sun constantly tempt us to cool down with a ball of delicious ice cream melting in your mouth. We have presented you our favorite places more than once, but our team never stops experimenting with all the newly opened places where we can indulge in the icy treats.

This year we’ve distinguished three new locations that are definitely worth visiting and finding your favorite taste among them.

We have already told you about the Greek coffee-bakery El Greco in our article New and old: El Greco and pub Razlaka. It opened its doors in the midst of the state of emergency, and today their menu offers a variety of temptations from high-quality bread smelling of our childhood years, through hand-made pastries - all the way to irresistible gelato, prepared on site with high-quality milk, Belgian chocolate, fresh fruits and with the unique flavors of kadaif ice cream, Easter bread ice cream, brownies, orange pie. We also recommend, if available, to try the halva flavor!

Complimenti confectionary shop is the next place where our ice cream tour took us. As soon as they opened, we fell in love with the girly interior, suitable for every Instagram shot, but when we tried the ice cream and desserts - we just left a piece of our hearts. They prepare the gelato on the spot following an Italian recipe, and our recommendations are for: Grandma's taste, mascarpone with figs and canola with ice cream filling! We assure you that you won’t regret it!

Our last location is one of the newest bakeries under the hills - Brioche confectionery. The place is on the very corner of the bedesten opposite the former Maritsa pharmacy and although we went to try the fluffy croissants, which we see in photos on social media all the time, we couldn’t miss the ice cream. They also prepare it on the spot and their tastes are traditional, but be sure to combine your tart with at least a ball of Nutella or pistachios. The iced dessert will perfectly balance the more intrusive taste of the pastry and the combination is perfect.

We continue to discover new delicious places, and we look forward to your suggestions in the comments!
