Lost in Plovdiv

We have bravely entered the month of love and romance, and for all those in love, the question of where to take the person dearest to our heart is on the agenda. In the Plovdiv digital guide, we have already shared with you which are the best places for a date under the hills, but today we’ll try to protect you from some mistakes that you may make in your choice this year. Still, the point is that it's enjoyable for both of you, and keep in mind that sometimes the location and surroundings can be quite important to the overall atmosphere of the evening. So don't take any chances with any of the following places or entertainment:

Extreme sport

Jumping out of a plane as a couple and flying in a hot air balloon sounds romantic, but not at the beginning of your relationship. No one would be prepared and into the right mindset, especially if they're going to wade deep into cold water or float weightlessly through the air.

Museum

Unless you've met in a group that likes history and ancient remains, going to a museum isn't a good first activity either. Allow yourself time to get to know each other and find out more about your interests.

Double date

It's not a good idea to get your closest pair of friends together with your future spouse. You will surely embark on some shared memories and crazy experiences, and the person next to you will want to literally run out the window.
 

With your parents

Too soon, rushed and... need we say more?! Family dinners are usually not the most fun thing in the world, and bringing a boyfriend or a girlfriend to them will be a real bombshell and make the situation even more awkward.

Inappropriate bar

These places are usually noisy and crowded, so you won't be able to have a minute of quiet conversation without having to yell at each other. Especially for a first date, it is also quite risky, before you have specified who prefers which places and how they like to have fun.

A poorly chosen film

The cinema, in general, is not the worst place for a date, but here again there is the possibility of choosing something completely inappropriate. Certainly not everyone likes action, horror or cheesy romantic comedies.

Fast food joint

There's nothing wrong with eating on the go, especially when we're in a hurry, but not as a first date. As much as you're a fan of cheeseburgers and doners, save them for some other time.

With friends

This is probably the easiest way to show someone that they're not quite your person. If you care about them, plan something in private, and leave the friendly gatherings for another time.

In the mountains

A rather tiring activity that requires a certain amount of preparation. Rather, plan it for a romantic weekend, but not as a date option.

At home

The concept of taking it easy is good, but not if it's too soon. There are plenty of options that would initially be a better choice and earn you more points.
