The Dark Side of the Brew

For fans of dark beer, the delight is not over. This Friday at Fabric Bar you’ll be able to try their new batch of winter beer. For this day the Fabric brewery has prepared two elixirs. The first one is called Cookie Dark and combines malt flavor with hints of honey, cocoa, and coffee. The second one is inspired by British porter beer - with a darker color, enhanced roasted flavor, but a lightweight body and relatively low alcoholicity for a dark beer.

Svilen Noev Different Album Promo Live @Bee Bop Café

It is time for a promotion of Svilen Noev's first solo album – Different in Plovdiv.

He is better known as Svilen from Ostava. With the band, he released 5 studio and 3 concert albums and has shot over 20 videos.

With Ostava he won "Song of the Year", "Group of the Year", "Song of the Decade" ("Chocolate"). With the band, he warmed for world artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Placebo, Ian Brown, Ladytron.

Svilen recorded a solo album with 8 songs, with friends from the music scene - Daniel Petrov, Georgi Stanev and Krasi Todorov.

The songs have a different sound, but they keep the melancholy that Svilen's voice makes.

Absinthe Night

In the history of alcohol, there is no more diabolized drink than absinthe. It is said that it opens the third eye and helps to penetrate into the occult secrets of the world, brings hallucinations, madness and heavy addiction. But that was a century ago.

A great merit in the history of the drink has Henri-Louis Pernod. What Michael Jackson is about pop music, that's Pernod for absinthe and all other drinks on an aniseed basis. In order to give the drink the intoxicating color, Father Pernod started painting it with chlorophyll, from where the emerald color so suited to the third eye came.

How to drink the absinthe - "the devil's drink", "the green fairy" or "the green muse" – we’ll find out this Saturday.

Symphonic Metal Gathering #2

For the second time, Plovdiv will host the Bulgarian Symphonic Metal Festival. At the Military Club, the most established Bulgarian bands in this style of metal music will meet.

On the stage will be Aegonia (Sofia), Bendida (Sofia), Enthronement (Plovdiv), Ghost Warfare (Haskovo), Mystica (Sofia), The A.X.E. Project (Sofia). For the first time on the symphony stage will be the well-established Claymore (Ruse), who are special guests of the event. All gangs will present their original music in a kind of marathon during the day. The winter fairy tale is waiting for you. All fans of the style will have the opportunity to buy merchandise from the merchandise section that will be set up in the hall. The organizers invite all fans of the native symphonic metal to support their favorite bands and, together with them, to immerse themselves in a fabulous atmosphere.
